DogtoberFEST is an adoptathon presented by CARMAA (Coalition to Adopt, Rehome and Match Abandoned Animals) on the first Saturday of October, now in its fifth year! Over 20 breed-specific rescues and shelters join DogtoberFEST to showcase their adoptable animals and find their forever homes. Join us at 11 a.m. for the Pooch Pride Costume parade and win prizes for Dog-Owner Lookalike, Most Original and Most Creative costumes ($5 entry fee). Bring your own dogs, shop, listen to live music and celebrate the many adoption options in our area.
