Animal control owner to be tried for theft

The owner of a McKees Rocks animal control company charged with billing the state about $37,000 for euthanizing dogs that did not exist waived his preliminary hearing on Tuesday and will head to trial.

Bernard Dudash, 74, owner of Triangle Pet Control Services, was charged by state police in January with theft by deception and tampering with public records....
