Police say a McKees Rocks company that euthanizes dogs for dozens of Western Pennsylvania municipalities billed the state for more than $37,000 for killing hundreds of animals that never existed.
Pennsylvania State Police charged Bernard Dudash, 73, of Kennedy with theft by deception and tampering with public records and information, both felony charges.
Dudash, the owner of Triangle Pet Control Services Inc., is accused of falsifying records between July 2007 and April 2011, according to court records. He also involved four of his employees in the fraud, according to the criminal complaint filed against Dudash. They were not charged....
