Charges pending in 3 dogs' deaths

Two residents of a Yukon home where three dead dogs were discovered will face charges of cruelty to animals, a humane society police officer said Tuesday.

Bruce Swank and another person who lived at 184 Highway St. each will be charged with three counts, said Ronald Smith of the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society.

Neighbors said yesterday that the dogs and several cats seen outside the house on Monday vanished overnight.

Officer Cathy Bricker said Swank told her he buried the dead dogs....
