As the benevolent arm of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Foundation, the AAHA Helping Pets Fund helps those in need access quality veterinary care for their sick or injured pets. We can help in three types of cases: When a pet owner is receiving government assistance for low-income individuals, when a pet owner experiences a temporary financial hardship, when a veterinary practice acts as a Good Samaritan and no pet owner exists.

Dougal's normally determines financial need as that instance where professional medical care will not be provided due to the inability of the pet's guardian/s to pay for the services.

IAADP has established an emergency veterinary fund to provide financial aid to United States IAADP Partner Members whose assistance dogs require high cost veterinary intervention beyond their ability to pay. This fund enables assistance dog partner members to provide help for their canine partners if a sudden illness or injury requires high cost veterinary intervention, beyond their financial means. This is a grant, not an insurance or entitlement program. ONLY the Veterinarian can initiate the request for a grant to Nutramax Laboratories, administrator of the program.

A place of hope for owners and/or caretakers of orthopedically challenged dogs. Our goal is to provide access to fundraising resources and to make emergency funds available for exceptional cases. Silver's Cause, a unique fund created specifically for service dogs, will provide financial assistance for any medical problem that these special companions may face. Silver's Cause will help to ensure that the relationship between a disabled person and their partner will not be threatened by costly medical expenses. It is the Foundation's hope that the efforts of OSLF will ease the financial burden that many families and/or guardians are often faced with, and that no dog will go without treatment or be without a home simply because of their extraordinary circumstances.

Separate funds for kidney disease, heart & thyroid disease, neurological conditions or mobility impairments, adoptable and newly adopted cats with chronic medical conditions, and cats who have a life-threatening or critical illness or injury that does not qualify under any of our other fund programs.

When an unexpected personal disaster affects a family, LifeLine Crisis Relief grants can provide financial assistance to help families provide for their pets' immediate needs. Personal disasters may include: House fire, Domestic violence situation, Unexpected death of a family member, Large-scale disasters such as hurricanes or wildfires. LifeLine Crisis Relief grants may be provided for the following needs: Transportation of the animal to safety, Veterinary care to treat injury or illness caused by the disaster, Temporary boarding.

CCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting canine cancer. We help sponsor the veterinary costs of dogs diagnosed with cancer for those families in financial need who would not otherwise be able to afford treatment.
