Directions: To find the off leash area, head towards the tennis courts-the
area is just 50 feet or so down the road from the entrance to the tennis
courts (not the entrance by the boat house). If you're not sure where that
is and drive all the way around the lake, you'll find it. (The quickest
way from the McKnight Road side of the park) to get to it is to drive
into the
park (past the batting cages and Tomato Pie Cafe) to the traffic light;
turn left at the light (ice-cream stand and bike rental on your left);
and then
take your first right (it comes up pretty quickly). Follow that road into
the park a short ways and then turn left up a long and very winding hill
and then down the long and winding hill. At the bottom you'll see the (pretty
small) parking area and fencing for the dog area. -- Marti W.
