The Western PA Humane Society is celebrating its 140th anniversary by offering a $140 adoption fee, through November 30, 2014, that provides approximately $1000 of services. Dogs six months or older receive spay/neuter surgery, an Avid microchip, dog training course, flea treatment and prevention application, all appropriate vaccines, heartworm testing, and a medical and behavioral evaluation report. Adopters receive unlimited love and affection from their new four-legged family member, as well as the good feeling that comes with knowing they’ve provided a forever family for a homeless dog.
